The aim of the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) is to help improve the quality and standards of education and childcare through independent inspection and regulation. Playgroups receive no warning of their inspection. The range of grades is inadequate, satisfactory, good, and outstanding.

The pre-school was inspected on 1 December 2008. All 14 aspects were graded good and the pre-school was awarded an overall grade of good.
